Summer may have been late arriving but when it got here, wow, wasn't it great. Hopefully everyone had some great vacation time and enjoyed many a glass of wine while sitting or the deck or barbequing. Now the Reality!! We only have 115 days until Christmas. September is the time to start your wines for Christmas, if you haven't already. Please don't procrastinate too long. See you soon.

AWARD WINNERS

At the 2010 Winemakers International Amateur competition, wines made with Winexpert products were awarded 244 medals. Winexperts 7 week Australian Shiraz won Best of Show Red. This again confirms how good the quality of the wines you make really are.

NEW SEASONAL WINES

French Gamay Nouveau--This wine is like Frances Beaujolais and as such is very drinkable right after bottling like most white wines. French Gamay is a dry, medium body wine that is a seasonal release that will only be available for a short time. Please call us if you wish to reserve one for yourself. They will be available in early September.

WINE GROUPS

We have openings in all our wine groups including the specialty port group. If you would like a variety of wines either all red,or red and white, please give us a call(604-820-9463) or drop by the shop and put your name on a list. These groups will be starting by mid-September.

 BOTTLING

Our busy season is fast approaching and each year we have a space problem in the shop because you make so many wines(this is not a complaint). We ask that if you have wine that has been sitting over the summer please give us a call and set up a bottling time so we can free up some space. Thanks.

THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Fraser River Wines will be closed from Saturday October 9th, 2010 through Monday October 11th, 2010. We will open again Tuesday October 12th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Have a safe holiday.
